Another Actor May Leave The X-Men After Wolverine 3

It's pretty well known that the upcoming Wolverine 3 film will be Hugh Jackman's last time playing the title character, but we've now learned that it may also be Patrick Stewart's last time playing Professor X.  While sounding like he's ready to put his wheelchair in park for good, he did leave himself an opening to return.  In an interview with ITV he said the following:

“I would imagine this is probably the end of this franchise for me. But the thing about science fiction and fantasy is that you can never, ever say it’s the end, it’s over.”

Patrick Stewart will make his seventh appearance as Professor Charles Xavier when Wolverine 3 comes out, and he says that he'll be a very different Charles Xavier… nothing like the Charles Xavier you’ve seen in the past.”  Rumors are that the movie is going to be loosely based on the Old Man Logan storyline from the comic books, but as far as I can tell the only thing that the comic book and this movie have in common will be an older Logan.  Professor X wasn't even in the comic book storyline, so it'll be interesting to see what kind of role he is going to play in the film.

Hugh Jackman recently caused a bit of a stir with fans when he posted a picture of himself on the set of Wolverine 3 that made him look kind of sickly.  He'd lost a lot of weight and had a lot of gray in his hair and beard, and while all of this could just be make-up and a new workout regiment, it had fans voicing their concern that the actor could really be sick.  Jackman has fought some health issues in the past, but nothing has been said by the actor or his representatives regarding the state of his health right now.  Since it hasn't been addressed, I'm sure the rumors of his "dwindling health" will persist.  You can check the picture out down below and see for yourself.  Wolverine 3 will open in theaters on March 3, 2017.

Now that's what I'm talking about!
