Have to say, I'm tired of being right...and wrong.
I was right when I predicted JJ Abrams would directi Star Wars on BYBI's YouTube channel (look it up, it's not BS!) and I was right when I said that Picard would....wait...need to say this, upcoming ***SPOILERS*** for the finale of Star Trek: Picard! If you want to keep reading, it's at your own peril!
Back in September I said that Picard...okay, wait...if you haven't watched it yet, just be aware I'm going to be revealing a lot here, so be prepared. Picard died. I said that this would happen back on September 22 (check out my blog) and I was right...and wrong. When I originally wrote the post I said that he would die, and that the spaceship would be named in honor of him. This was based on the fact that the other series were named after the ship. Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise, Voyager, all named after the ship. So, someone back in September said the ship would be named after Picard.
What I didn't know was he would be brought back to life by having his consciences would be placed in an android body and will be coming back for Season 2. This is the best thing that could have happened. This is because there is going to be a Star Trek: Crossover series that will bring all of the current Star Trek series together in a series, kind of like Marvel's Defenders. So not only are we going to get another season with Sir Patrick Stewart, but he looks to be a very important part of this new series that they are working on.
This has been one of the most fun series that has come out in ages, and I loved it. I am currently working my way through Star Trek: Voyager and have actually started to enjoy it. I started watching it when it came out, and to be honest, I wasn't impressed. The problem was, I didn't follow my own rule...watch three episodes before you make a decision on a series. I had only watched ONE episode originally, then went back and watched three. Ended up liking it! If you haven't watched it, give it a shot. I''m on episode 7 right now, and digging it!
So this is just a post to brag saying I was right!!! But at the same time, I was wrong. But let's focus on the right! Let me know what you thought of this, leave a comment in the section below. I'll be back next week.
