By now we all know that there is going to be a Star Wars series on Disney+ that will focus on Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi. We also know that it is going to take place roughly eight years after the conclusion of Revenge of the Sith. So it was interesting to learn that one of the characters that is going to make an appearance in the series is a young Luke Skywalker. The reason that this is interesting is because they are auditioning child actors between the ages of three and six. Now, I know my math is pretty good, so that left me scratching my head...
This leads to only one conclusion, that he will be featured in a flashback/memory sequence of some sort. We already know that Luke knew Ben before he sought him out in A New Hope, otherwise he wouldn't have connected Ben With Ob-Wan. I'm guessing (and this is purely a guess) that it will focus on him looking over him, as well as his Uncle Ben and Aunt Beru. It's easy to understand why he'd need to look after them, because some of the other characters that they are saying might possibly appear will be Darth Maul and even Darth Vader.
It's still way too early to know if these last two will actually appear, but it would make sense that Vader and Obi-Wan crossed paths again at least once before their final battle together on the Death Star.
