Logan Keeps Teasing Fans With Black And White Photos

Welcome to the start of a new week, people!  The above picture was released last week and hints to the reality that the upcoming movie Logan, the third movie in the Wolverine franchise, is following (to some degree) parts of the Old Man Logan storyline from the comic book.  As I have mentioned a few times, it won't be possible to follow it completely, since a majority of the characters that appear in it are properties owned by Marvel and Disney, and two of the characters that look to be in it weren't even in the comic book at all.  So how is it that one little black and white photo can make me say that they are following parts of the Old Man Logan story?

In the comic book, Logan ends up killing all of the X-Men after he was tricked by Mysterio, and goes into seclusion and refuses to fight ever again.  In fact, in the story, all of the heroes were killed and the ones that survived went into hiding.  So if you look closely at the photograph up above, someone scrawled into the bathroom stall, "Where are all the Mutants?"  It looks like the movie Logan will be set in a future that doesn't have the X-Men or any of the other heroes in it anymore.  So what happened to them all?  The simple answer to that question is...I don't have a clue.

The movie takes place in the not-so-distant future, happening in 2024, and from the set photos, it looks like the world has changed quite a bit.  The only two X-Men that are confirmed to be in the movie are Professor Xavier and Logan.  It's been rumored that X-23, a.k.a. Laura Kinney, will be making her big screen debut, although it hasn't been officially announced that she'll be in it.  However, another photo that was released pretty much shows us that she is.  check it out below:

If that hand isn't Laura's then I'm not sure what to make of this photo.  Logan is set for release March 3, 2017.
