Is Ghost Rider Going To Join Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

Earlier this month, there were some advertising signs for Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that showed some fiery chains.  While some people may have attributed these chains to Ghost Rider, most people assumed that it was referencing Hellfire, who's alter-ego James "J.T." Taylor had made a brief appearance during season 3.  However, things have happened now that have people wondering if it's actually going to be Ghost Rider who will be joining the show, instead of Hellfire.

According to Comicbook.com, there's a casting call that has gone out looking for a pair of latino brothers where one is characterized as "the most dangerous person in the room," and the other brother is "paralyzed in a wheelchair."  This is seems to be pointing to the 2014 comic book character named Robbie Reyes.  Robbie Reyes is the most recent Ghost Rifer, and happens to be Mexican-American.  This guy Reyes also has a disabled brother...starting to see the connection?  Just FYI...Reyes drives a tricked out flaming black muscle car, instead of the traditional motorcycle that people are used to seeing.

This is an unusual move for Marvel, if, in fact, this is what's happening.  They've been keeping their big-name comic book characters to either the movies, or to the darker Marvel television series that they show on Netflix.  For them to incorporate Reyes and Ghost Rider into the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television show shows that they either don't have faith in the property to hold it's own as a stand alone series, or they're wanting to start beefing up their broadcast series with some bigger names so they can start competing with DC.  Marvel may rule the roost when it comes to movies, but DC is kicking it's butt up and down the block when it comes to television.  Not including Netflix, Marvel only has Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. now that Agent Carter has been cancelled, and everything else that has been rumored to be in production or being talked about seems to be on hold.  DC, on the other hand, has Arrow, The Flash, DC Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Gotham.  And most of these shows are kicking S.H.I.E.L.D.'s ratings.

So what do you think?  Do you think that Marvel is going to bring Ghost Rider into the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fold? Or do you think people are reading too much into all of this?  What do you want to see happen next season on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?  Let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.
