Is The CW Going To Bring Back Constantine For A Second Season?

The CW launched an app a while back called The CW Seed, and with their close relationship with Warner Bros. and DC, it should come as no surprise that they offer up a lot of DC related programing to watch, most of which can be tied to their Arrow-verse programming.  They offer some original content like Vixen, which was a series of animated shorts that introduced viewers to her character before making a live appearance on Arrow, entire series of now cancelled shows like the 1990's Flash and 2002's Birds of Prey, and they even offer a few feature films from WB Animation, like Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths and Justice League: Doom.

Now, CW has added Constantine to it's lineup of CW Seed programs, which lasted only 13 episodes on NBC and starred Matt Ryan.  I had a lot of hope for this show, but since it aired on NBC, I should have known that it was doomed from the start.  Matt Ryan did reprise his role as John Constantine in one episode of Arrow this past season, so now it's got people wondering if The CW is going to try and pick up Constantine for it's season 2 at some point in the future.

Matt Ryan is shy about letting people know that he really enjoyed playing the character, and would love to have the chance to do it again, but considering that he is currently filming The Halcyon over in the U.K. right now, any chance of seeing the show's return won't be this season coming up, but more likely the season after this one...if this really happens.  CW's president had said at one point that there were no plans of spinning off any more superhero shows.  Of course that was said before they picked up Supergirl from CBS, so who knows?  Anything is possible.  Never say never, right?

So what are your thoughts on Constantine?  Do you want to see it return to television, or were you not impressed enough with what you saw from the first season to really care?  Let me know what you're thinking in the comments section down below.
