A Marvel Superhero Buddy Flick?

That's the way actor Mark Ruffalo is billing the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok movie.  It was announced a few weeks ago that The Hulk would be appearing in the film, but it wasn't until recently that we learned that he'll be co-starring in the flick.  Here's what he told the Daily Mail:

“I don’t really know that much about it, but I think it’s going to be a buddy picture with Thor and Bruce Banner,” Ruffalo said. “I think they’ll probably fight. There’s no doubt, everyone wants us to fight at one point.”

So who else will be making an appearance?  It's hard to say right now since the movie's script is still being worked on, but it's hard to believe that we won't be seeing The Warriors Three at some point.  Jaimie Alexander's Lady Sif might be getting a smaller role, unless she's able to work around her shooting schedule for NBC's Blindspot.  One actor that hopes that the trio gets to make an appearance is Zachary Levi.  Here's what he had to say about the upcoming film and whether or not he knows if he'll get a chance to play Fandral again:

“No, not at all. As far as I know, they are still writing the script. Once that’s all buttoned down, I’m sure they will be making the phone call to whatever actors are involved. I hope I’m involved. I’d love to reprise Fandral. That was a fun experience, getting to be blonde, Asgardian and sounding British. I think shooting in Australia would be a hoot. The weather is certainly more conducive to happiness than when we were shooting in London, which is a great city, but pretty dreary.”

Even with the script still getting the final touches that it needs before production begins, one of the rumors is that Thanos will be making an appearance in the film.  It's being said that he's going to make a run on Asgard in his attempt to grab the Infinity Stones that are being held there.  If this is the case, Thor: Ragnarok may be one of the most spectacular Marvel films of the year.  You know, after Captain America: Civil War, of course.
