Welcome loyal readers! You are in for a treat if you don't mind the possible spoiler that I am about to share. As you know, many of the stars from the Original Trilogy are making their way back to the silver screen in this winter's release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. We know that Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels, and even the late Carrie Fisher will be reprising their roles. But there is one person (who's still alive) that's missing from the group, and for good reason...he died. I know, I should have said ***SPOILERS!!!*** like I always do, but this one was kind of a no-brainer.
Yes, while it hasn't been "updated" on IMDB, it's been rumored that..oh. ***SPOILERS!!!***
Still with me? Good. There is a rumor circulating that Harrison Ford will be making an appearance in the film. Here's how it's supposed to go down...
So while we know that Ben (Kylo Ren) was the ultimate prick for killing his father in The Force Awakens, it’s being said that after he loses in a lightsaber battle to Rey, he has a vision where his father (a.k.a. Han Solo, the baddest scoundrel in the Galaxy) that talks to him and possibly moves his son to the Light Side of the Force. The experience shakes Ben to the core and he switches sides. I mean, he did ask his Dad for help before killing him, maybe he actually does?
This is all rumor, and I checked IMDB to see if he was listed in the credits (he wasn't). It’s not surprising, though. Even with all of these rumors popping up, Disney and Lucasfilm are playing things very close to the chest. We'll just have to wait and see when the movie gets released this December. Here's hoping, though!
