20 Year Old Easter Egg In Superman Comic That Everyone Missed

How many of you reading this collected and read the "Death and Rebirth of Superman" comic book storyline?  It was by far the most widely read and probably the most popular comic book at that time.  After his battle with Doomsday, and Superman "died," the world was introduced to four "new" Supermen.  One of the four, the Cyborg Superman, was deemed the "official" Superman by the President of the United States after he stopped a terrorist attack on the White House.  He could remember Lois Lane, the Kent Farm, and other memories of the original Superman.  This was because he was created using Clark Kent's DNA.  As we all know, he ended up being the ultimate villain, teaming up with Mongul, helping destroy Coast City, and by proxy, destroyed Green Lantern Hal Jordan.  All of this came to a head in Superman #80.  As surprising as this was to readers, artist Dan Jurgens left fans a small Easter Egg in the previous issue, Superman #79, and the page that has the Easter Egg on it is posted up above.  Can you spot it?  Give it a little time...

Okay, if you spotted it, then congratulations!  You're just 20 years too late! Ha!  If you still don't see it, let me narrow it for you:

These three panels show Coast City, Mongul's spaceship, and Green Lantern.  It was forecasting what was going to happen in the following issue, but without context, it was easily overlooked.  Even though this is basically a twenty year old story, I still thought it was cool enough to share!
