Neuromancer Movie In Development

This is pretty cool, especially because of it's director!

So Simon Kinberg is trying to develop Neuromancer, a novel that was written by William Gibson back in 1984, and has yet to be made into a movie, although it's influenced a number of films including the Matrix.  The book even originated the term "cyberspace" so it's amazing that this story hasn't already been told on the silver screen.  Not that it hasn't been tried before, it has, but now it looks like it's actually going to get done.

Originally, Vincenzo Natali was going to direct the film, but he's out and Kinberg is getting Deadpool's director, Tim Miller, to take on the job, but first Miller is suppose to direct the next Terminator film.  Neuromancer doesn't have a screenplay for it yet, but as soon as I hear more about this film, I'll let you know.
