This past weekend, Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 hit theaters, and science-fiction/comic book fans ran to theaters in droves to see the movie. James Gunn, who directed the film, has been giving us an escape from reality with his movies, as has JJ Abrams, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, and numerous other directors. One of those directors is Patrick Read Johnson. Have you ever wondered where these directors get their inspiration? Johnson's biopic film has been a lifetime in the making. Not the movie itself, but his journey to get to the point so ha could make it. It started with the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey, but truly spiked when he saw Star Wars. Johnson started working on this movie back in 2004, and after 13 years, he's finally completed it, just in time for the 40th anniversary for Star Wars.
