Does The Flash's Earth-1 Have A Kara?
After the HUGE television cross over event between the Flash and Supergirl, people wanted to know right away when we'd get to see these two together again on the small screen. Some want Barry to head back to National City again next year, while others are wondering if Kara has a doppelganger on Earth-1. Is it possible for Earth-1 to have a Kara? Here's what Andrew Kreisberg (executive producer for both shows) had to say:
"Any Kara that exists on Earth-1 would also have to be an alien. It just can't be Kara Danvers from Poughkeepsie."
That would seem to end the conversation of Kara appearing on Earth-1...or does it? Out of the three television series that take place in the DC universe, The Flash is the one show where something like an alien showing up wouldn't be out of the ordinary. With all of the metahumans running around, someone from outer space would fit right in. And to be fair, this idea isn't completely out of the question. When asked if an Earth-1 Kara would also have superpowers, Kreisberg had this to say:
"Sure, different costume, but sure."
Makes sense. There might not even be a Krypton in Earth-1's universe. It may be a different planet all together. If that's the case, there would be no "S" on her costume, since the House of El wouldn't exist. I wonder what her Earth-1 costume would look like?
It's been mentioned that this was the first of many crossovers that the producers are planning on doing with the two shows, whether it's Barry going back, Kara coming over, or meeting Kara's doppleganger, we'll get to see these two in action again in the near future.
