ABC Has Ordered A Pilot Epsiode For MARVEL'S MOST WANTED
Sometimes I just don't understand Marvel. They do extremely well with their movies, even with their lesser known characters like Guardians of the Galaxy or Ant Man, but then when they have what should be a sure-fire hit like Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. they fail so miserably. They are redeeming themselves with their Netflix properties and Agent Carter, but they just can't seem to get Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. right. So, instead of fixing what needs to be fixed, they are bringing out another spinoff of the show called Marvel's Most Wanted. So what do we know about this new show?
The short answer is, not much. ABC President Paul Lee said that after it had been put on hold for a while, they have finally ordered a pilot episode for the show. It will have executive producer Jeffery Bell (who is the EP on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and writer Paul Zbyszewski on board for it, and if it goes to series, then Zbyszewski will stay on as its lead writer. It will star Adrianne Palicki as Barbra "Bobbi" Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird) and Nick Blood as Lance Hunter. At the Television Critics Association press tour, Lee said, "We are making it in the next few months. It's a really good script."
Last year in April there were rumors of this show happening, but Lee decided that it wasn't a good time to take Bobbi and Hunter from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. so the show was put on hold. Now it seems the time is right and they are moving forward with it.
If you don't know much about these two characters because you don't watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (like me) you can catch new episodes of the show starting Tuesday, March 8 at 9PM on ABC. Or you can watch something fun.
