So even though I have a lot of news to keep throwing your way as far as DCU television shows go, I thought I'd shake things up and talk about Star Wars: The Force Awakens!
So! We all know that Jabba died at the hands of Princess Leia in Return of the Jedi, but the Hutt's still control a portion of the "galaxy far, far away." If they could survive through the Empire's control, why couldn't they thrive after they fell?
According to the Lationo Review's Dave Gonzalez, the Hutts are going to be making an appearance in the upcoming Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens! It's being reported that there's going to be more than one Hutt in the movie, and that they were built in a practical sense, and won't be CGI. I think we all learned our lesson after Lucas' attempt to include Jabba in on the A New Hope re-release. CGI isn't always better!
We really don't know a lot about what role they will play in the upcoming movie, or even if they will be related to Jabba, but they will be making an appearance in the new movie.
